Position: ELISA Laboratory Technician
Job Description: Lampire Biological Laboratories, Inc. is currently searching for an ELISA Laboratory Technician for our Everett Lab Facility.
Requirements: Knowledge of cGMPs, SOPs and batch records is necessary. Additional experience in other test methods, RID, Western Blots, SDS Page a bonus but not required. Excellet communication skills, both written and verbal as well as computer skills a must.
Eduction: The qualified candidate will have a AS or BS Degree in Biology or related scientific field with 1-3 years experience performing and troubleshooting various types of ELISAs.

Location: Pipersville, Pennsylvania
Position: Purification Chemist
Job Description: To make purified materials according to company specifications and or custom client specifications that perform in their intended format. To research, when needed, the best process to meet custom requirements and continually improve efficiency and value of the processes being performed. Job Functions include but are not limited to: - Purification of immunoglobulins from various species using a variety of chromatographic techniques - Protein, Peptide and Small Molecule conjugation - Various Immunoglobulin Characterization and Processing protocols - Perform routine Pepsin / Papain digestions - Write and revise Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and batch records - Perform routine enzyme, hapten, and peptide couplings - Completion of documentation in accordance with Lampire, client, and FDA guidelines - Assist in preparation of investigation reports and activities required by the client or as part of the CAPA (Corrective and Preventive Action) program - Perform all job functions in a safe manner and report all safety concerns or observations to the production manager and safety committee as needed - Perform new project review and design control implementation - Assist and perform validation on newly developed processes as needed - Schedule personnel to complete weekly job functions - Perform training of Personnel
Requirements: An MS Degree in Biochemistry, Analytical Chemistry, or BioOrganic Chemistry with 10+ years’ experience or PhD Degree with 5+ years’ experience. Experience in a cGMP environment is required. Scope of responsibility will include routine purifications (Protein A, Protein G, Salt Cut, Affinity), couplings, and digestions.

Position: Cell Culture Scientist
Job Description: To produce high quality products according to current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs) and maintain the laboratory facility in a clean, safe, FDA regulation compliant condition. Job Functions include but are not limited to: - Production of monoclonal antibody supernatants (1L – 100L) from frozen cell stocks - Cell banking of various cell lines used for production - Coordinate testing for banked cell lines - Maintain and routinely update production schedules - Coordinate with development and purification departments to ensure that projects run smoothly - Generation of cell pellets, medium to large batches - Operate analytical and basic laboratory equipment - Completion of SOP and Batch Record documentation according to company, client, and regulatory agency guidelines - Assist in the execution of equipment Installation, Operational, and Performance Qualification protocols and other validations as needed - Write and revise Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) - Track disposable and production material inventories and order as necessary - Track and ensure that equipment certifications are kept up to date in compliance with defined procedures and requirements - Cleaning of laboratories on a routine basis - Assist in preparation of investigation reports and activities required by the client or as part of the CAPA (Corrective and Preventive Action) Program - Perform all job functions in a safe manner and report all safety concerns or observations to the facility manager and safety committee as needed - Other duties may be assigned as needed
Requirements: • A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in a scientific field such as Biology or Biochemistry • A minimum of 5 years practical manufacturing laboratory experience culturing mammalian cell lines in a pharmaceutical, diagnostic or medical device facility
Eduction: A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in a scientific field such as Biology or Biochemistry with a minimum of 5 years practical manufacturing laboratory experience culturing mammalian cell lines in a pharmaceutical, diagnostic or medical device facility. Experience with large-scale cell culture equipment using Wave or Stir tank preferred.

Location: Everett, Pennsylvania
Position: Microbiologist
Job Description: Major responsibilities include: Perform growth, counting, aliquoting and storage of infectious agent cultures; Preparation of immunogens for animal work; Completion of SOP and Batch Record documentation according to Lampire, client, and regulatory agency guidelines; Assist in writing a facility biosafety manual.
Requirements: Experience and working knowledge of BSL 2 facility regulations required. Hands on experience with CDC Select Agents and preparing immunogens for injection of animals is desirable. Lab animal experience is a plus.
Eduction: The qualified candidate will possess a Bachelor Degree in Microbiology with a minimum of 2 years practical laboratory experience culturing infectious agents and/or human pathogens in a pharmaceutical, diagnostic or medical device facility.

Position: Small Laboratory Animal Manager
Job Description: Major responsibilities include: Performing/coordinating all small animal treatments; Facilitating the animal inventory record keeping; Performing/coordinating inventory and compliance of facility PPE, order inventory and supply items as needed; Facilitating the process for quarantined animals – paperwork and compliance; Coordinating technical training programs; Ensuring that all operations are in compliance with existing policies and procedures, Manufacturing work instructions, and cGMPs; Observing safety regulations and practices; Performing other duties as required
Requirements: Experience and working knowledge of BSL 2 facility regulations required. AALAS certification preferred. Windows-based computer and data input skills required. Additional requirements include: Proficiency in animal handling specifically rabbits; Good oral and written communication skills (English) and basic math skills; Knowledge of cGMP/ISO manufacturing operations required; Ability to give directions, train others and communicate effectively
Eduction: The qualified candidate will possess a Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field with a minimum of five years industrial experience in a pharmaceutical, diagnostic or medical device facility.
