Position: Small Animal Technician
Job Description:
The primary responsibility of this individual is to maintain the overall health and well-being of the rabbits including cage and facility maintenance. This would include the feeding and watering of rabbits, administering treatments, as well as swapping, cleaning, disinfecting, and sanitizing all animal housing units and animal facilities.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE (but are not limited to):
• Feeding, watering, and administering treatments, including observing and reporting any signs of disease/illness and help to treat minor cases of such findings
• Scraping, chipping, and dusting, animal caging units
• Swapping/rotating animal caging units
• Disassembling/assembling, cleaning, disinfecting, and sanitizing all animal caging units including feeders, water bottles, and enrichment items
• Facility maintenance including, HVAC, water systems, light fixtures, etc.
• Responsible for completing accurate reports documentation records including maintenance sheet, room temperature log, animal treatments, and animal inventory
• Maintaining the rabbit breeding program
• Tattooing of rabbits
• RODAC testing, pre and post cleaning
• Responsible for keeping accurate inventory of supplies needed


Requirements:
• 1 year minimum of relevant working experience
• Good oral and written communication skills (English), mathematics skills, and good attention to detail are required
• Good organizational skills with ability to manage multiple priorities
• Ability to give directions, train others and communicate effectively while working in a team oriented setting
• Must be able to lift, push, and pull at minimum 50lbs
• Experience with cGMP quality systems and manufacturing operations a plus
• Experience with farm equipment specifically tractors, manure spreader, skid steer a plus


Education:
• High school diploma or equivalent is required, a Bachelor Degree in Life Sciences or equivalent preferred but not required
• AALAS certification, and familiarity with USDA and AAALAC regulatory requirements a plus

Location: Everett, PA
Position: Project Scheduler
Job Description:
Management of projects at Lampire’s Everett BioProcessing Facility with the goal of providing consistent and high-quality products and services to our customers.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE (but are not limited to):
• Generation of project schedules
• Works with operations to ensure that projects are started on time and in line with client expectations and requests
• Serves as a logistical liaison for project activities
• Communicate project activities with operations and relay work orders or additional instructions to Lampire personnel
• Data entry into Project Management Software System
• Generation of weekly departmental work schedules
• Generation of project specific paperwork
• Project-specific communication with clients
• Performing all job functions in a safe manner and reporting all safety concerns or observations to the Production Manager and Safety Committee as needed
• Compliance with all client protocols and IACUC regulations
• Compliance with all pertinent Quality Assurance procedures and requirements
• All work will be performed according to current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs)
• Assist in preparation of investigation reports and additional testing required by the client or as part of the CAPA (Corrective and Preventive Action) Program


Requirements:
• Degree in a scientific field and/or Project Management certification desirable, but not required
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail required
• Good communications skills desired


Education:
High School Diploma with a minimum of 5 years practical experience, or an Associates/Bachelors Degree.

Location: Pipersville, PA
Position: Purification Technician
Job Description: Purification of normal, secondary antibodies, and custom mono and polyclonal antibodies with the goal of providing consistent, high quality products and services to our customers with complete, accurate documentation.
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE (but are not limited to):
• Routine buffer preparation for all processes being performed in the department
• Protein A and Protein G purification of normal IgGs and other antibodies
• Write and revise Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Batch Records (BR) as needed
• Assist in filling, labeling, and finished good inspection
• Operate basic laboratory and analytical equipment
• Compliance with all Standing Operating Procedures in relation to Protein Purification
• Cleaning of laboratory areas on a regular basis
• Perform work in accordance with current good manufacturing practices (cGMP)
• Perform autoclave sterilization of items as needed
• Assist in preparation of investigation reports as part of the Corrective and Preventative Action (CAPA) program


Requirements:
• Good oral and written communication skills (English) and mathematics skills
• Windows-based computer skills, familiarity with Microsoft Word and Excel
• Good organizational skills with ability to manage multiple priorities
• Experience with cGMP quality systems and manufacturing operations
• Ability to give directions, train others and communicate effectively
• Knowledge of the metric system


Education:
• Minimum of a High School Diploma, Bachelor Degree in a scientific field preferred
• Minimum of 2 years experience in a scientific field with a HS Diploma, 0-2 years with a Bachelor Degree

Location: Ottsville, PA
Position: Large Animal Technician
Job Description: To balance production and animal care at Lampire with the goal of providing consistent, high quality products and services to our customers with complete, accurate documentation.
Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
• Animal care Am/Pm daily, when scheduled to work
• Complete daily production which may include injections, bleeding, milking, etc.
• Maintain animal living areas
• Document findings and job completions in the required logs


Requirements:
• The ability to lift 50lbs or more ona regular basis
• Good oral and written communication (English)
• Windows-based computer skills, familiarity with Microsoft Word and Excel
• Good organizational skills with ability to manage multiple priorities
• A valid drivers license
• Must be able to rotate holidays and weekends and on occasion, work longer hours


Education:
• Animal Science degree or 4 years or more of animal related experience

Location: Everett, PA
Position: Large Animal Technician
Job Description: Animal technician to perform manual and semi-skilled work in connection with feeding, cleansing and care of large animals. Duties include maintaining animal health and birthing records, observing and reporting on animals for signs of disease/disorders. Assist with treatments for disease/disorders. Perform routine maintenance of farm facility.

Requirements: Some heavy lifting involved. Must have valid driver’s license. Must be a team player, enjoy working with animals and outdoors. Demonstrates a commitment to quality of care of animals. Familiarity with USDA, AAALAC requirements a plus. Tractor/Farm equipment experience a plus.

Education: Minimum of High School Diploma
