Position: Scientist I - Cell Culture
Job Description: Lampire Biological Laboratories, Inc. is currently seeking an experienced Scientist I for our Pipersville, PA Facility. Major responsibilities include:

• Cell Culture (hybridoma, xenograft, cell pellets)
• ELISA Screening (serum, supernatant, purified material)
• Coating of ELISA plates, running ELISA, Interpretation of ELISA data
• Perform HPLC, SDS PAGE, and Western Blot protocols
• Generate documentation according to Lampire, client and FDA guidelines
• Routine Buffer preparation
• Write and revise Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Batch Records (BR) as needed
• Assist in filling, labeling and finished good inspection
• Operate Basic Laboratory and Analytical equipment
• Compliance with all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
• Cleaning of laboratory areas on a regular basis
• Perform work in accordance with current good manufacturing practices (cGMP)

Requirements:
• Experience in ELISA, SDS-Page, Western Blot, and HPLC
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong planning and organization skills
• Ability to multitask in a dynamic environment
• Experience with Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel, Word, and Outlook

Education: Bachelors degree in Biologics or other Life Sciences and have direct industry cell culture experience.

Location: Everett, PA
Position: QA Manager
Job Description: To ensure compliance within the established Quality Management System at Lampire with the goal of providing consistent, high quality products and services to our customers with complete, accurate documentation. Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

• Works with Director of QMS to implement the Quality Management System and ensure compliance throughout the company
• Reviews and releases raw material which requires QA approval
• Reviews and releases finished products
• Performs document control activities, including tracking, distributing and archiving
• Issues and reviews Variances, Nonconformances, Validations and Change Controls
• Assists with conducting investigations, implementing corrective action plans and performing effectiveness checks
• Conducts required training modules
• Helps manage supplier approval and qualification records
• Maintains both active and obsolete quality records
• Assists internal and client audits

Requirements:
• Must be a self-motivated detailed oriented professional
• Good organizational skills with ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines
• Windows-based computer skills, familiarity with Microsoft Word and Excel
• Experience with cGMP quality systems and manufacturing operations
• Ability to give directions, train others and communicate effectively both orally and written

Education: BS Degree in scientific discipline preferred. Minimum 2 years of experience in the quality assurance or a related area. Experience with and knowledge of ISO standards preferred.

• Protein A and Protein G purification of Normal IgGs and other antibodies
• Write and revise Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Batch Records (BR) as needed
• Assist in filling, labeling and finished good inspection
• Operate Basic Laboratory and Analytical equipment
• Compliance with all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) in relation to Protein Purification
• Cleaning of laboratory areas on a regular basis
• Perform work in accordance with current good manufacturing practices (cGMP)
• Perform autoclave sterilization of items as needed
• Assist in preparation of investigation reports as part of the Corrective and Preventive Action (CAPA) program

Requirements:
• Good oral and written communication skills (English) and mathematics skills
• Windows-based computer skills, familiarity with Microsoft Word and Excel
• Good organizational skills with ability to manage multiple priorities
• Experience with cGMP quality systems and manufacturing operations
• Ability to give directions, train others and communicate effectively
• Knowledge of the metric system

Education: The qualified candidate will possess, at a minimum, a High School Diploma with 2 years relevant experience, or a Bachelors degree in Biologics or other Life Sciences. Experience with buffer preparations, SOPs, cGMPs, and protein purification is a plus.

Position: Blood Processing Supervisor
Job Description:
Production Supervisor equipped for oversight and processing of whole blood, serum, plasma and antigen preparation. Successful Production Supervisor shall perform all duties with the goal of providing consistent, high quality products and services to our clients with complete, accurate documentation. Maintenance of injection antigen and free peptide inventory utilizing project management software (PM). Track disposable and production material inventories and order as necessary. Schedule appropriate personnel for required job functions. Oversight of the calibration of instruments within the department. Compliance with all pertinent Quality Assurance procedures and requirements. Compliance with all standard operating procedures (SOPs) and batch records for manufacture and testing of client specified material. Write and revise standard operating procedures (SOPs). Perform all job functions in a safe manner and report all safety concerns and observations to the site manager and safety committee. Assist in preparation of investigative reports and additional testing as required by client or as part of the CAPA (Corrective and Preventive Action) Program.

Requirements:
• Perform performance evaluations for laboratory technicians
• Experience with operating analytical and basic laboratory equipment
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent mathematical skills
• Excellent organizational skills with ability to prioritize multiple tasks
• Windows based computer skills, familiarity with Word and Excel
• cGMP experience in quality systems and manufacturing operations

Education:
• Minimum of a High School diploma with 5 years of practical laboratory experience
• Associates or Bachelor degree in a scientific field

Position: Large Animal Technician
Job Description: Animal technician to perform manual and semi-skilled work in connection with feeding, cleansing and care of large animals. Duties include maintaining animal health and birthing records, observing and reporting on animals for signs of disease/disorders. Assist with treatments for disease/disorders. Perform routine maintenance of farm facility.

Requirements: Some heavy lifting involved. Must have valid driver’s license. Must be a team player, enjoy working with animals and outdoors. Demonstrates a commitment to quality of care of animals. Familiarity with USDA, AAALAC requirements a plus. Tractor/Farm equipment experience a plus.

Education: Minimum of High School Diploma

Job Description: Sales Professional with life sciences knowledge and selling skills capable of engaging industry researchers, drug developers, diagnostic device manufacturers and other scientific professionals in industrial and academic accounts in territories that have a history of outstanding selling opportunities. Sales Professional will be goals and results oriented demonstrated by revenue growth. Successful candidate will assist customers in fostering innovation by providing access to the Lampire full suite of products including custom polyclonal and monoclonal antibodies, immunology services, bulk diagnostic and research reagents, pharmacokinetics, ADME assays and analytical services.

Requirements: Successful Sales Professional will be highly motivated, assertive and results oriented. Candidate will possess a solid background in the life science industry with experience in biochemistry, cell culture, assay development and antibody production. Immunology is a plus. Superior communication and organization skills are required.

Education: Bachelors Degree in Biologics or a Life Sciences Specialization and have direct industry cell culture experience.
