As we restored a piece of our past, we reconnected with the story that started it all—the truck that helped build LAMPIRE from the ground up. Meet Blue Goose—the rugged 1976 GMC that carried more than just supplies; it carried a dream.  In the earliest days of LAMPIRE, this truck was by Greg Krug’s side—hauling gear, navigating muddy fields, and standing watch as he worked to build something lasting. It supported the hands-on science, the long days, and the sheep that helped fuel medical innovation.  Now fully restored, Blue Goose stands as a symbol of perseverance, vision, and the humble beginnings that shaped our journey.
